Is Changing our world through business the way to go?
The President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso is set to urge companies to treat the fight against climate change as a business opportunity and not a burden.
I have said for quite some time now, that the way to save our planet will be through business, big business, because without the corporations and inhabitants of this earth being able to make a profit and earn an income, we will not change our ways.
Doing business ethically, having ethical businesses that support the well being of the planet and ourselves, is the only way we can do something positive about climate change and coming to a more peaceful existence with our neighbors.
So, when the world of mainstream business starts to talk about how to make a profit and move forward positively on climate change, there is a glimmer of hope, that our world is going to be changing for the better.
Supporting an organic lifestyle, is definitely the way to go. An organic lifestyle includes supporting organic farming, the manufacturing of organic goods, the use of alternate power for home and car which does not include nuclear, being transparent in our dealings and looking to do the best for our community and ourselves.
